Age and Background
Registrants must be at least eighteen years of age, or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To participate in the courses, the registrant must be lawfully able to own and/or handle a firearm. If you have any prior felony convictions or a criminal record, please contact Defenders USA prior to registering. Participants agree to abide by any and all safety procedures specified by the instructional staff. Participation in any course is dependent upon safe and cooperative conduct in the classroom and on the range. Participants (or guardians, if less than eighteen) will be required to sign release forms at the beginning of each course.
Medical Conditions or Limitations
We respect your right to privacy regarding medical conditions or limitations, but request that you disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect your safety or the safety of others on the range. We attempt to work within physical limitations of all participants. If you have a condition or limitation and are not sure if this would interfere with safety of yourself or others, please contact Defenders USA prior to registering.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Course Registrations are the life blood of Defenders USA. Due to the class size limits we keep, last minute cancellations and schedule changes are hard on our company. We ask that you only register for a time that you know you will be able to attend the desired course. We do, however, recognize that life happens. Please review our cancellation and schedule change policies below.
Cancellations:
- If you cancel your registration less than 14 days before your scheduled course, we will issue a refund minus a 50% processing fee.
- If you cancel more than 14 days before your scheduled course , we will issue a full refund minus a 20% processing fee.
Schedule Changes
- If you reschedule your course attendance for a different date less than 14 days prior to your scheduled course, we charge a 10% rescheduling fee.
- If you reschedule more than 14 days before your scheduled course, there is no charge.
Replacement Certificates
If you need a replacement course completion certificate from a Defenders USA course, we can produce a replacement for $25. Please contact Defenders USA to arrange for a replacement.
