The Urban Defensive Rifle Course is a high-caliber defensive and fighting rifle training course developed to help prepare and train anyone in the efficient defensive fighting use of the AR-15 or other tactical carbines / rifles within the context of reality.

This course is a one-day training experience teaching basic to advanced combat-focused rifle / carbine shooting and handling, ballistics & zeroing, manipulation, combat focused shooting, defensive concerns and posture, and a lot more. It is filled with live fire on the range and honing rifle / carbine fighting and shooting skills. This course is  moderately physical.

Most bring an AR-15 / M4-based weapons platform but this course is also easily adopted to other platforms, such as the AK varients, the Tavor, Styer, and other bull-pups, the Mini-14, M-14, AR-10, and others. We’ve had 9mm, .45, .223, 7.62, and other calibers in this course. We’ve even had a lever-action rifle in this course.

No rifle? We might be able to arrange a rental rifle and magazines for you to use (970-986-0774).

Testimonials

“Thanks for an excellent CCW class last Friday evening.  I have obtained my CCW permit in all of the last 8 states we have lived in and your was one of the best.  It kept us engaged the entire evening.  My only regret is that we didn’t sign up for the entire weekend.  We will next time you are in Grand Junction.”
