This Concealed Handgun Permit Course will be held at the Meeker Veterans Community Center at 290 4th St., Meeker, Colorado.
We all owe a genuine thank you to Vicki Crawford for organizing this and helping secure the Veterans Center to put on this course, so please take a moment to thank her while attending.
This CHP course will start at 9 am and end around 1 pm’ish, taught by Certified Advanced Firearms Instructor Brent Hickmon.
Defenders USA’s CHP / CCW Course meets and surpasses the requirements for a Colorado Concealed Carry Weapons permit. Our CHP / CCW Course addresses:
- Use of force in defense of your life and of others,
- Colorado defensive firearm and conceal carry laws,
- Use and carry of CHP/CCW on property, businesses, vehicles, and in the home,
- Firearm safety,
- and much more
This CHP Course has becoming renown as one of the most in-depth and extensive CHP / CCW Courses available in the Colorado. So, even if you already have a CHP / CCW permit and had gone through a different training course for that permit, we encourage you to consider attending this course also. It is very common for those who’ve been through other courses somewhere else but then attend ours to inform us that they learned more in our CHP / CCW and other firearms courses than anywhere else. We want to get solid knowledge and training to you because we have seen too many victims of violent crime and we want to help people best survive in an unfortunate situation by bringing as much high quality education and training to as many people possible.
You will not need to bring a handgun to this course unless you just want to, as we will provide everything you will need, unless you want to bring something to eat or a non-alcoholic drink during the course.
If you do bring a handgun, please leave it in either it’s holster or in the carrying case it was brought in, unless directed by the instructor to remove your handgun from it’s holster or carrying case.
For those who provably attended any other CO CHP / CCW Course within the last two (2) years, we urge you to also attend and we offer this CHP / CCW course at 50% the normal costs. We have consistently found such attendees are very surprised by how much they will learn in comparison to what they’d previously attended.

For those who’ve attended our CCW Course in the past, our CCW Courses are ALWAYS open to you for FREE at anytime. We have so many who repeat this class, due to the depth and detail of this training, which we encourage everyone to do, so if you’d like to attend again, please just let us know and we’ll get you registered at no cost. We are grateful to you for having attended at least once previously and we’d always love to see you again!
