Defensive Handgun I – Grand Junction, CO

Date
Date(s) - 06/18/2016

Location
Outdoor Range

We highly recommend the Defensive Handgun I be taken in addition to the CCW Course and continue on with your defensive training. This is ideal for those who aren’t able to attend a full Defenders Series or a Combat Focused Shooting course with us.

This consists of learning or improving a neutral, natural, fighting stance, solid handling and draw stroke, recoil management, intuitive aiming and shooting, efficient combat reloading, and much more, creating combat efficiency and accuracy while building speed and solid handling that also works well with what the body does naturally when in fear and under high stress. The students leave the range with proven defensive fighting skills based on the realities of how the vast majority of violent attacks and ambushes happen in America and modern societies.  Each student will gain knowledge, physical expertise,  and confidence as well as having a great time.

Testimonials

“As a father, husband, and business owner, I cannot emphasize enough how important the training (Defenders USA) offers is to a the safety and security of families and ultimately free society.  Defenders USA has helped to sharpen my skills and awareness of potential threats to the safety of my family and those around me.  I have taken other defensive shooting courses and this is by far, the best training I have ever received.  Even having been around firearms my entire life, I was amazed at how many mistakes I was making, and how unprepared I was to stop an actual real threat.

The classroom work alone was amazing as (the D-USA instructor) has an in-depth knowledge on the legal, social, spiritual, and mental ramifications of using a firearm for the Defense of Life.  Then we went to the range and learned real world experience for defending our loved ones.  It was challenging, humbling, and fun.  My only regret is that I did not have more family and friends joining me for the training.  I hope to take the course again in the future and plan to bring people with me!

If every town in America send even a small percentages of their population to learn and apply this training – violent crime would be nearly non-existent in America today.”
