Handgun Speed & Accuracy
Handgun Speed & Accuracy is perfect for the shooter who wants develop their speed and precision from the holster, either concealed or open carry. This is excellent for the LEO who wants to really refine in both areas far beyond where most LE training goes, working from either duty gear or from plain clothes assignments. This course intended for those who already have a decent degree of skill in basic handgun fundamentals, although we will spend time there when and where needed.
As the title says, this day will focus on going fast and being highly accurate. We’ll work on accuracy first, then build in speed that is efficient in technique.
A quality holster is a must in this course, so if you aren’t sure if your holster is of decent to good quality, contact us as soon as possible, because if you need a good holster, it will take some time to order one and get it shipped to you.
If you want to get a holster for before this class, feel free to contact us (Adam @ 970-986-0774) OR Brent Hickmon of Haven Defense CO. (www.havendefenseco.com / 970-987-3471) and we’ll help you select a high-quality holster versus the less-than-good ones in all the local gun stores.
Doing this course from concealment is recommended but open carry is also just fine.
This will be a thoughtful, careful training session in order to build skill, building to explosive speeds. We will be focused completely on getting the objectives of this class exactly right and repeatable for each shooter, with expert nuisances built into grip, stance, platform, excellent and speedy draw strokes, and high precision, both up close and at distance.
